XLSX or Allegro API — where to get sales data
When Sales Center exports are enough, and when to connect read-only API sync in SalesAmplifier.
Allegro sellers today have two main data sources for offers and sales: XLSX exports from Sales Center and the official API (OAuth, read-only). SalesAmplifier stores both as parallel history streams — not as an either/or choice.
What XLSX still does best
Sales Center reports remain essential where the API does not expose the same metrics:
- visits and conversion from traffic reports,
- Allegro Ads (spend, clicks, ROAS) from campaign exports,
- historical sales by offer and sales by day — especially for long ranges without API window limits.
What the Allegro API adds
After connecting your account (read-only OAuth), sync complements exports with fresher data:
- offer state (price, stock, status) — snapshots every few hours,
- orders and checkout lines — for the Live (API) view in Sales,
- offer change journal (
/sale/offer-events) — events from roughly the last 24 hours, - billing — fee lines linked to offers.
The API does not replace Ads reports or visits. Combine both sources and use in-app reconciliation when numbers disagree.
Getting started in SalesAmplifier
- Connect Allegro in account settings.
- Run a manual sync or wait for the schedule (every 3 hours).
- In Sales, toggle Live (API) alongside XLSX-based charts.
- Keep uploading XLSX where the API has no equivalent (Ads, visits).
